This fast ski is aimed at all GS racers semi- and top-professional level.
When every hundredth counts, there are no compromises. You need a ski that is familiar with GS courses. One like the Atomic Redster G9 FIS Revoshock M I 193, which Manuel Feller and his colleagues rely on when they start.
It owes its sovereignty to Atomic’s Revoshock technology. Several spring steel plates are lined with elastomer – for reliable stability and smoothness and at the same time maximum acceleration with every turn. Its continuous sidewall provides incredible edge grip, the combination of Ultra Power Woodcore and Ultra TI Powered Laminate for maximum torsional rigidity. The pre-assembled Icon binding plate transfers the rider’s energy and power directly to the ski through the binding, which optimizes control.
Difference “Icon” and “X” model
The skis are identical. The difference is in the plates and bindings.
“Icon” is the professional equipment from the World Cup. The “Icon” plate and especially the “Icon” binding were designed exclusively for semi-professional and professional racing. This combination is even more direct in swing control and has an extreme contact pressure. These bindings can only be used with racing ski boots, as the shell of classic ski boots would be too soft and could get pressure points at the holding points or even break. The lowest Z-value of the binding is so high that it is not possible to adjust the weight to the skier.
“X” is the most common “amateur” racing version known to date. Here there are also bindings that can be adjusted to the body weight.
